Webinar: Digital Twin Modeling
Organized by COMSOL
This webinar was live broadcasted on June 8, 2021 – 15:00 until 16:00 hours
A Digital Twin is a virtual copy of a device or system based on physical models and measured data. For example, it could be a vehicle, electric devices, medical equipment, or even a building. Digital Twins can be used to improve design, product development, manufacturing and operations by predicting performance and life time based on simulation models and real data.
During the webinar we will introduce the COMSOL Multiphysics software and discuss its possibilities for application in digital twin modeling. An important aspect is the communication between the real and virtual spaces, which we will cover in detail. We also show an example of how COMSOL is used for digital twin modeling by customers worldwide. The webinar ends with a demonstration on how to create both a high-fidelity validation model and a light-weight model that produces fast results.
